What our R&D is for
The aim is not to add features. It is to stop process results from drifting.
If a machine cannot give the same result under the same conditions, every quality activity downstream loses its meaning. Our R&D centre measures how much control strategy, airflow, temperature, humidity and contact surfaces affect the result, and feeds what it finds back into the design standards.
Process trial suite
The suite is equipped to run trial batches with your product. The results are used directly in the specification and the validation plan.
- Laboratory scale high shear granulator and fluid bed dryer

Process reproducibility
We isolate what makes batches differ, then simplify the design so fewer variables need controlling.
Cleanability
Structures that trap residue are removed at drawing stage, and the access needed for cleaning validation is built in.
Control and electronic records
Recipe management, separation of privileges and audit trail come as a standard software structure.
Energy and resources
Heat recovery on air handling and reuse of wash water lower running cost and environmental load together.

Collaboration
We run trials with universities, testing bodies and our customers’ own process development teams. Ownership of the resulting data, and how far it may be published, are agreed in the contract first.
